Towards the Development of Research Skills of Physics Students through the Use of Simulators: A Case Study

The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact using simulators on students’ achievement competencies, such as: Inquire, through scientific methods build knowledge. methodology used consisted qualitative whose data collection was carried out an experiment with interactive Physics Educational Technology (PhET) simulators. a simple random sampling 25 students from population 100 physics subjects. With sample, four learning sessions were developed PhET simulator, which implemented in way that helped development skills according indicators oriented competence, A pretest and posttest applied. results study show benefits use teachinglearning processes, contributing competence inquire, knowledge, developing capacities, Problematize situations design strategies generate record or information, analyze communicate process their inquiry. In conclusion, 100% develop inquiry competencies capabilities.
